We can also supply power strips within the desk to provide power for most user's needs and avoid the proliferation of extension leads under the desks.

• When fibre optic cabling is mentioned many customers immediately think of high cost and complexity. In reality the cost of the fibre cable is surprisingly affordable and in many cases we are able to install pre-terminated fibre which provides even greater cost savings. In addition, the networking equipment interface to connect to the fibre has also seen a steady decrease in price and this also makes fibre optics a reliable and affordable solution for your backbone cabling. Of course, for connections between buildings, fibre is the obvious choice as there are no worries from lightning strikes and power surges. • Wireless networking is now accepted as a normal way of quickly getting network access, particularly the internet, for many people. Many homes and small businesses now have wireless routers to allow portable devices to get internet connection and wireless hot spots in cafe's and bars are now everywhere. For an office with desktop PC's however, a wired connection is always the preferred choice if possible.
