Benefits of our Networking Infrastructure services:
- You will gain a reliable network as properly installed cabling results in a network infrastructure that is resilient, future proof, and easy to administer with a low total cost of ownership. As network speeds to the desktop increase, a cable infrastructure that you can confidently add or move users without the worry of connectivity issues makes life a whole lot easier for the IT department in any organisation.
- To ease the administration of the network, all the data outlets are clearly labelled with adequate horizontal and vertical cable management within the patch cabinet to assist with tidy housekeeping. We can supply patch leads of assorted colours and lengths to also make patching for various services for example, data, voice and printers, a little easier.
- Within the patch cabinet we can install power strips and UPS equipment to ensure network continuity and of course a range of networking equipment from Cisco, Netgear and Allied Telesis to match both your networking and budgetary requirements.
- While cable management at the data rack is important, the user's desk should also be considered. We can supply and install articulated spines to bring cables neatly up from the floor and onto the desk. We can also supply power strips within the desk to provide power for most user's needs and avoid the proliferation of extension leads under the desks.
- When fibre optic cabling is mentioned many customers immediately think of high cost and complexity. In reality the cost of the fibre cable is surprisingly affordable and in many cases we are able to install pre-terminated fibre which provides even greater cost savings. In addition, the networking equipment interface to connect to the fibre has also seen a steady decrease in price and this also makes fibre optics a reliable and affordable solution for your backbone cabling. Of course, for connections between buildings, fibre is the obvious choice as there are no worries from lightning strikes and power surges. - Wireless networking is now accepted as a normal way of quickly getting network access, particularly the internet, for many people. Many homes and small businesses now have wireless routers to allow portable devices to get internet connection and wireless hot spots in cafe's and bars are now everywhere. For an office with desktop PC's however, a wired connection is always the preferred choice if possible. Another area where wireless becomes very cost effective is for links between buildings where there is preferably line of sight and no cable ducts or overhead wires to run a fibre cable. In the past this usually meant involving BT and paying for a leased line which is relatively expensive. In this case, a point to point wireless solution can be very cost effective as there are no line rental costs, just the cost of the equipment and the installation.
