The smallest network cameras with H.264.

This camera is one of the newer cameras from Axis and is quite striking with its clean lines and functional appearance. It also benefits from the latest H.264 compression technology. This technology gives greater compression without loss of image quality, and can result in large savings in storage, particularly for customers with a large number of cameras. The newer cameras also have an active tampering alarm that detects if an intruder should cover the lens of the camera.

There is also a wireless version - the M1011-W - see below for image and features.

The smallest and smartest wireless network camera with H.264.

This camera has even more features than the M1011-W. The camera has a built in PIR sensor to detect movement and a bright white LED which can then illuminate the scene or can be operated by the remote viewer. Should you wish to observe an area such as an unattended communications room  and require additional illumination, this could be a useful feature. This camera also has two way audio support which would make it suitable for monitoring unattended reception areas, for example.
