The EasyProx Nano Range

EasyProx Nano is a Net2 access control unit built into a door handle. It combines a wireless access control unit and a reader in one.

This system comes with everything needed to secure one door, including a tubular mortice latch. Communication with Net2 software happens at a central point with a secure, low power radio link.

EasyProx Nano is battery powered, which makes the unit wireless and not in need of mains power. No cable is required to communicate between doors, and it does not need to be wired into the mains.

One EasyProx Nano will control a single door, and can be installed alongside other Net2 control units.

The EasyProx has an alarm to indicate that the handle is unable to return to its horizontal position. This helps to avoid running the batteries flat while the installation is checked.

The alarm is activated when the door fails to re-lock itself. The alarm will sound for 60 seconds during which time the unit will try to lock the door once every 10 seconds. After 60 seconds the unit will then shut down. When the unit is woken up, it will immediately try to lock the door. If it fails, the alarm cycle will start again.

A Net2Air USB bridge is connected to the central Net2 server PC which enables the Net2 software to discover and communicate with any EasyProx nanos within range. A secure pairing procedure ensures that communications are private and restricted to the site. If there is an existing TCP/IP Ethernet network, a Net2Air Ethernet bridge can be used to extend the communication distance from the central server PC.
