Why do I need access control?
If you want to control who has access to your building, then access control should be a consideration.
Sure, you can secure your building with traditional locks and keys, but it can be expensive and inconvenient to change locks and re-issue keys. Not to mention that keys can be copied easily, leaving your premises exposed to a security risk.
No matter how big or small your business, you have assets to protect, and the safety of your staff and their property. The possibility of opportunists entering the premises are increased as many access points to a building are left open all day.
The most efficient and convenient way of securing your building and assets is electronic access control.
Gone are the days of having to get locks changed; simply issue tokens or an access PIN code to allow access through the controlled doors. These tokens and codes are easily barred from the system should they be lost or stolen, and once barred, they will not permit access.
Once your system is installed, all doors that you have chosen to be controlled by the system will automatically lock as soon as the door closes. People without a PIN or access code are denied access. If required, you can set the access controls so that the doors unlock during a specific time frame.
